Y’all….yarn is taking over my house.
This beautiful pile of fiber is taking over my living room. Believe me, I’m lucky that I’m able to have this corner. Just wait and see why…
These lovely mounds of yarn are taking over my craft room. Now, I must clarify…these are just the piles. These don’t account for my main yarn supply. I also must clarify, that my craft room is the size of a living room. Please, gaze your eyes upon the rest of my stash:
Yep.
I realize that I don’t have as much yarn as a lot of people out there. However, the amount of yarn piles, which mainly contain incomplete skeins, just blow me away. They are starting to cause a problem in the house. For the first time in years, I refused a yarn sale that my husband mentioned, because I just can’t justify it.
That being said, I’ve started a yarn busting project. I’m going to get rid of as many of these piles as I can as quickly as possible. I need to, for my family. It’s dire at this point.
Since I can only make so many scarves and hats, I need to start searching for other projects to try out. Maybe a blanket? Maybe small amigurumis? I’m not sure just yet. For now, I’m banging out as many scarves as I can, because they’re quick and sell fairly easily. (Which is great, because once I make all of the items, I need to GET RID of them.
Please…encourage me….motivate me…pray for me…
I’ll take what I can get.
